Distracted and not watching the sprint finish of the race he has come to view? Come off it.

For distracted I meant "not understanding that your body can be on the way of what you are watching".

Ah yes. She's broken her key bone.

Greg Van Avermaet's win today was like taking candy from a baby...

Just catching up on Paris-Nice, enjoyed Poels' win in Tirreno

Paris nice was good viewing today.
Wtf is it with sky riders and wet descents? Wiggo, G, and Richie. The replay of Porte's stack looked painful

Wout's decending in Tirreno however was very impressive
-
• #891
Yeah he smashed it. Gallopin's ride was superb, so strong and very well timed. What is his time trialling like?
-
• #892
Cycling news' ticker have some statistic like Porte's beaten 23 times in a tt versus 4. And last time they both went up tomorrows mountain Porte beat him by 2 mins
Will be good viewing

Just turned on the Paris Nice coverage.
Any reason Philippe Gilbert is using a normal road bike?
-

it's hilly, some people are using tt bikes, others regular bikes. They mentioned it seems to be the GC contendors that are using the tt bikes.

Yeah seen that it's a bit of a mix. I didn't think it looked that hilly, just a big long horrible drag uphill, but what do I know?
In other news, I can;t work out what the hell's going on in Tirreno Adriatico. The Rai Uno stream I have just has a woman reporting live from the finish. It's snowing and I thought I'd got a skiing stream by accident. Sporza says 61km to go but I can't find any stream showing cyclists actually cycling.

Porte looks a right mess when he TTs. Cadence keeps going up and down and shoulders wobble everywhere. A bit fast though...
It simply can't be a premeditated action, unless they were going at slow mo speed (20kmh).
I watched few sprints at the finish line and unless you are hanging out from the rails with your head (resulting in an instant decapitation) you can't really see who's coming along the barrier.
And given the speed you would see the hand out way before as the slow mo tricks the judgment a lot.
I'd say stupid distracted spectator.
