His partner is annoying in her own right, but alas it's his whole media smug persona - his driving just doesn't overcome the package for me. I'm probably the only Brit who's not behind Hamilton.

Actually i'm with you. He was great in his first year, but every year following his personality really let him down. There are occasions when he does an interview that I think to myself "ok maybe I've been wrong about him" but it never lasts more than a moment. I still enjoy seeing some of his manoeuvre's but have grown to prefer seeing them fail.

Sorry he irritates you so. However it's very different him being so strong in that's the same car as his teammate. Remember that Schumey made sure his teammate had inferior kit, just as Vettel did to Mark.
Maybe it's his ridiculous ex-girlfriend or his hip-hop friends that you don't like? I like him for many reasons, but one of them is his driving ability. Niki Lauda applauds his audacious overtakes. Oh well, that Niki Lauda is clearly biased for the Brit.
