    Hi there,

Have my training/racing frameset for sale. It's lovely and responsive and stiff as can be whilst being comfortable but I've had it for a while now and feel like changing things up.

    The specs:

    • Olagnero, made in Milan (90s)
    • Columbus Thron tubing throughout
    • Seattube: 56cm c-t-c. Toptube: 56cm c-t-c.
    • 27.2 seatpost
    • ITA bottom bracket threads
    • Chromed forks, chromed driveside chainstay, part-chromed rear dropouts
    • Amazing yellow paintjob, looks absolutely wonderful in sunlight

    Condition:

    • No dings, dents, and all running true.
    • Paintjob has taken a bit of a beating, unfortunately. Lots of black scratches and marks and a few chips. Of note are the wheel rub marks on the inside of the chainstays, and the tear down the middle of the seattube's Columbus sticker. Some of the decals have also rubbed off. I'm sure that some of the blemishes will clean up fine, and I'll attempt to do so if it's a dealbreaker for anyone, I just haven't had the time recently.

    Price:

    • £130 -> £110 SOLD
    • Collected from Richmond or Kingston. Can bring to central for a packet of biscuits.
    • Includes an A9 reproduction headset (bought new, sealed bearings), Campagnolo dropout adjusters (also bought new, although one of the plastic heads has stripped), a generic seatbolt, and a carbon Token 111mm ISO bottom bracket.

Any questions or picture requests please fire away. And sorry for phone-quality pictures, will try to take better ones over the weekend! Thanks :-)

  • Think you can pm me some images

  • Sure thing, pictures on their way. Will let you know once they're up!

  • Loving the chains stays on it.

  • Thanks - yeah they're amazing! Always remind me of a tibia or something. So so beefy, it doesn't even need a bridge or webbing behind the BB shell

  • Do you have a photo of it built up or just with wheels on?

  • Afraid the only pics I have of it built up were taken when I first got it and just wanted to try it out, so it's an absolute mishmash of a build. Should give you an idea of geometry though:

There are a couple more photos if you follow the link. Note that all pics are with 700x23s, and that in the one with just wheels I hadn't yet fitted a headset, so the front clearance is a bit off. Great geometry for comfortable riding though, but still lively and responsive due to the frame's stiffness.

  • thanks.

  • Dropped by £5 to £125. Anyone?

  • I have seen this bike in the flesh, and it really does look good in the sunlight! (also, if this is Elias, when did yu have a disk? how trendy)

  • Well this is embarrassing. This is my only outlet for heavy geeking so don't judge too hard please haha

Also, as you can probably tell from the trendy pictures, I had the 'disk' a couple of years ago when I wanted to be rad to the max. Inverted commas because it wasn't even a disk, it was a clip-on disk cover - all the looks, none of the benefits. If anything it probably made the wheel worse.

But thanks for the nice words :) come by on monday if you can, it would be great to catch up. I think patrick even secretly misses being short five at the end of the day because you got lunch. He always look so hopeful when counting up then so disappointed!

  • This'll be going on ebay in a few days, so feel free to make me reasonable offers!

  • Still here, will actually go on ebay in a few days!

    £110 without bolts/headset if that'll help

  • Price drop, £120 all-in

  • Dibs, will PM soon.

    Cheers

  • Nice one, dibs noted. Thanks

  • Big apologies, have to undibs.

The person who was supossed to have the frame don't like the colour...

    Shame.

Please, somebody buy this, baragain for such a frame!!!

    Sorry again.

  • No worries, thanks for letting me know and for the nice words!

Also I didn't think that was even possible, yellow bikes are the best

  • oooo slightly smaller version of what i'm ragging about as my current work bike. (http://www.pedalroom.com/bike/olagnero--20070)

    rad frames

  • Oof frame looks so good worn down like that! Must be loads of fun too your builds all look great :-)
Never seen another exactly like this so thanks for the heads up

Also always wondered how much was chromed under the paint! Was yours originally that jet black at the seat cluster?

  • Knocked off another 5 -> £115 all-in?

    Need this gone!

  • £115 with a sealed Token bottom bracket thrown in, £110 for it as it is, if you can collect from Richmond this Thursday!

  • Really no-one? This made such a fun summer bike last year!

£110 for everything in the pics (f+f, hs, bb, dropouts adjusters and seat bolt)

  • £105 sans bb?
