Chainstay/Sprocket clearance issues.

My chain ring is flipped to the outside of my cranks but the little edges for it to be flipped inward are scraping my chain stay. Besides getting a longer bottom bracket axel is there any other option?

Shims in cranks maybe?

Wouldn't try it with shims. Buy a bb with a longer axle or file down the edges on the inside of the cranks. I've also seen people denting their chainstays with pliers but I wouldn't recommend that.

Got reasonably lucky and was able to file down the lips on the arms. Micro clearance but its running smooth!
