Triton have got Nature Boy completes coming in May. Do I wait until then or get a Day One?
-

I had the same dilemma this time last year when the nature boy disc was announced.
Would have made the perfect partner for my big block (which I adored).
Ended up going for the Day One Disc and just as well as I would still have been waiting.
Have a big soft spot for All City though.

I've been offered the canti version of the nature boy. Tempted, but not sure whether to get the 58 or 61. My track bike is 61x58 with 20cm ht & 110 stem which feels almost perfect. I'd need the bars a couple of cms higher and further back for cx right?

With a 58 toptube on your track bike, you'll be on the 61 natureboy.

I was thinking more the 58, with the 58.5 tt. Also saw this from the bikerader review:
"A note on sizing: our test bike was a 55cm by All-City’s specification, but it had a 56.5cm top tube and 57cm seat tube, which is bigger than claimed and made it perfect for a rider of 6ft 2in or thereabouts"
Im 6'3

The bikeradar dude can't read geometry charts - all the numbers fits the 55 version. Make sure to get some setback on the 58 nature boy.

I had mine setup with 120mm stem and a fair whack of seatpost
I ride a similar size track bike to you

Thanks guys. ^ That looks very cool. Black AC forks?
-
• #2889
Yup, but I'd recommend carbon ones. Some good straight blade Chinese offerings out there on Ali express. The AC ones weigh a ton

i'm 6.3 and had a 61cm nature boy and it was too big for me. felt better with a 58!

I enjoy these forks on mine

Ison are still UK importers, they have live(ish) stock levels and expected due dates on the Ison website, so if it shows as in stock at Ison then your LBS should be able to order one in (no direct sales with Ison, but you can check out the site to browse for stuff)
Failing that it's whatever stock is out at shops. They had a good showing at the Core bike show, but i was taken with silver fade grey 853 Macho King........not a SS and not cheap..... but sooo nice to look at with it's matching carbon fork.

^^^Damn that's beautiful! Can anyone suggest any frames with dropouts like the orlowski, that can be run singlespeed and geared to0?
-
• #2898
For sizing help on the macho man/ nature boy (as they have the same geo) I'm 6'1" and I ride the 55...lay back post and a 90mm stem for cross and 100mm stem for road riding. Fits me perfect. Though I have 25mm of spacers.
Edit: that tri tone nature boy is fire. Is the the zona tubing spec?

@Themistoklidis at the risk of stating the stating the obvious, the Surly Cross Check and the straggler would fit this bill. not really the same drop outs as such but the end result is the same.
