Yeah I know, cheapest way to buy it was under the Clarks name.

Simple and easy time saving tip for anyone considering stripping their fork - just fucking don't.
-
• #254
Also the sloppiest glue job ever means the front wheel is done, 699g complete.

• #255
How much weight did stripping the paint save?
-
• #256
Looks like 10g
-
• #257
Yeah, 10g. Was primarily an aesthetic decision, wouldn't have bothered just for the weight saving, especially as I'll add it all back on if I lacquer them.

How long is the HT on the vig?

Odds on this actually being the quoted 203g+/-5g? Looks very Novatec. -

I was debating that same hub in my thread but others mentioned doubts it could be so light, i dont think it does share design with tensile or anything else that i've seen. Their pre built wheels which are also sold under the amain.t brand are quoted at quite low weights. please buy a hub so we can find out ;) http://amain-t.com/home/?goods=carbon-aero 25mm carbon rim 20h/24h with pista hubs 1085g http://circusbike.com/?goods=road-mtb-pista-hub list the rear hub as 148g which does seem unlikely.

Doom sprocket of certain death. 45g lighter than steel though.

The most potentially dangerous frame in forum history? The original Indra'd frame, #messlifed by B0N0R.
<6kg with alu cranks, boat anchor Ellipse and a bunch of heavy bits elsewhere. Spreadsheet now says <5.3kg if I build a decent rear wheel.

You're a very brave man.

It's going to have a nice easy life, having maximal watts thrashed through it up steep hills.

That cheapo Clarks chain is actually a Yaban (YBN) chain (have a close look at the links). They're actually pretty good. Yaban make motorcycle chains too.
