  • That's not good, which asda are you going to and what film are you using?

I always get perfect processing but occasionally poor scans from the one in collindale, dev+scan option there is £2 and they always give them back cut and in neg holders unless there's been a winding error and some frames overlap.

Don't be discouraged, just try again with a different lab I guess.

  • Yeah I will, just disappointed after being happy to be carrying a camera again.
Beckton Asda - used to go there years ago for enlargements and they were good. Not impressed now. Colindale's a bit out of my way!
Films were a mix of Ektar (which I know I light-leaked like crazy), Reala, basic Fuji colour, Kodak Gold. The Reala and Fuji were expired.
So many of them are just blurry crap though, I can't seem to fire the shutter and hold that camera steady, don't know what it is. It's like, simultaneously too soft and too difficult to press the shutter.

  • ah fair,

Eye culture on bethnal green road are probably better than your asda then, they're also nearly as cheap.

I used to have this problem with an old canon, I figured it was more a case of the shape of the cam vs the size of my hands that was the issue. Either way I'm keen to see your results when you get something you're happy with.
