it is! almost healed so up for sunday and/or monday rides. replacing my macbook means no more money for tattoos :'(

i don't actually like most of kola's work so much, i can appreciate the little framed vista pastiches he does but i don't think i'd get anything like that. i'm really drawn to the finer, floral stuff he does like the top centre and right of these:

which is probably a bit insulting as any dickhead with a sharpie can do woodcut-esque floral print but his stuff does have a very idiosyncratic style. hands down the nicest person who's ever tattooed me. would happily get him or tom bates to do the rest of my calves though bates has just announced he's guesting at sang bleu which means his prices will ^^^^^ which can >>>>>

Where does he work normally? Philip Yarnell charges less at Skynyard than he does at Sang Bleu - so maybe go to where he is based?

He's done a few pieces on me, then left me hanging for months after I'd already paid for a piece. He then upped and left london taking with him a book of mine for reference and saying he wont be back to London any time soon.

that's crap @Dakin , i think he's probably had his work/exposure explode due to blackworkers/similar promo pages. he posted recently he's got some bonkers number of followers so i imagine like a lot of tattooists he's got loads more work. definitely not any excuse for being a bit shit though
