I put a new wheelset on my gfs mixte as old steel rims the brakes aren't as good on them as with alloy rims, so maybe something worth considering as an iffy brake moment can soon put someone off the idea of riding. Similar idea but flatbar and sram triggers instead of porteur bars, fitted a kick stand and pannier too. Just waiting for fair weather to suit her riding style lol
