Macbook Pro 13" 2009

  • Hi all,

I've got my Macbook Pro 13" I'd like to sell please.

I purchased this laptop in June 2009 from the Apple store. It's been a fantastic computer, not once has it broken down or needed any money spending on it. It does have a few small 'quirks' but it's a solid machine which I've been using up until yesterday when I purchased a iMac.

    Spec:

    . 2.26ghz processor
    . 2gb ram
    .160gb hd
    . 10.6.8 software

It's missing the '5' key (still works) they are roughly £2 on eBay
There is a very small mark on the screen, roughly the size of a prick from a thumb tack
A few small dents on the lid and underneath, scratches and missing rubber feet (which have caused more wear to the underneath.
Trackpad still works when you tap it but it doesn't 'click' anymore as I believe it's got some dust in.
Hinge has some cracking to the plastic.
Charger is non-genuine and battery lasts about 5 minuets when not plugged in.

Machine still works perfect, ideal for someone who is looking for a cheap Mac that aren't too bothered that it has quite a few scratches etc.

    I'd like £250 posted please.

  • The lack of click could be caused by the battery swelling up and putting pressure on the underside of the trackpad. Best to open it up and check (you need a specific screwdriver).

£250 is probably a bit optimistic considering the age and condition of the laptop.

  • Happy to take offers
