Spotted in Paris-Nice: crosstop levers on Voeckler's bike.
I demand an explanation.
-
• #728
Cyclocosm just mentioned it on Twitter, although he called them top tube levers.
We are discussing it in the office. Back injury?

Luckily we were out with friends. 3 tenths! FFS!
Still, great stuff from Kwiato
Just watched the replay.. ouch on the moto hitting the fence!
-
• #731
Are there any rough/cobbled roads? Maybe he's more comfy on his 'cross bike.
-
• #732
Also, did you see where Kwiatkowski has his Garmin? On the outside of the aerobars..
-
• #733
That's what we thought, but apparently there are none. Apparently.
I'm not looking this stuff up.

Voeckler crosstop brake speculation latest (https://twitter.com/mcewenrobbie/status/574951595135234048)

any confirmation on what the damage to Boonen was?
-
• #740
Not seen confirmation yet, but looked like a classic collarbone the way he was holding his arm. Such a shame, looked like he dropped back to get rid of some kit in prep for a strong finish. Sad times.
-
• #741
Looks like his foot unclipped? Maybe he was trying to save himself. Poor beautiful Tom.
-
• #742
Why is it that we are denied a Cancellara vs Boonen showdown year after year?
Here's hoping it's good news.
-
• #743
Last year he had it mounted here:
Sad times for Boonen, I really hope he didn't brake anything.

• #744
Boonen did a hippy. #procopycatz

Froome likes withdrawing from T-A
2012 chest infection
2014 back
2015 chest infectionHe should have just called Zorzoli for a TUE
-
• #746
Yeah, timing not great on needing a TUE is it Chris
-
• #747
Are you implying that Froome is illuminati?
-
• #748
Sporza reporting that Boonen has a sprained shoulder but no fracture. Which is good news.
But hard to see how he'll be at peak form for Flanders and Roubaix without P-N in his legs.
-
• #749
Balls, EQS have just released a statement saying Boonen is out for 3-6 weeks and will miss the cobbled classics.
