Had these wheels built up for a raleigh ti replica i owned at the time, they only ever had 4 or 5 shortish summer rides before a nos(25 years earlier) cassette gave up and dropped its ball bearings one by one over a 200yard stretch of road leaving me to push home. no damage to wheels and what was left of cassette was removed at lbs, that kind of killed the honeymoon period and bike was sold soon after minus these wheels I couldn't quite part with at the time.
Fast forward two years, original outlay almost forgotten and; wheels both supplied with original flat levered campagnolo quick release levers and generic rim tape. front hub has a light rumble to it, rear is smoother but still not buttery though both will be regreased at lbs while ENO freewheel is removed, rear hub is single threaded road hub.
As with other items, located in Edinburgh so delivery probably required. Seem to recall (may be slightly out) almost £200 on parts before id even paid for labour...realise that has no bearing on current value so how does £160 delivered (uk) sound, happy to dispatch further afield for more£.
