Coaster brake = half an hour of faffing and several different tools to get the rear wheel out?
I have a bike with a coaster brake, it gets used in all weathers so the wheel nuts alone take a good 10 minutes of work. I never worry about not locking the rear wheel!
You're missng the fact that the bike can be removed by temporarily taking off the saddle or maybe even just shifting the bike around to push the saddle through the d-lock.
