Orange kryptonite hasn't failed me, i see bikes locked up with the type of d lock you can open with a pen and i don't tend to worry, also i try to lock in high traffic area. Also left my bike locked up with a grey kryptonite in london for the day, was fine
Visiting my girlfriend this week in Preston, the weather here is crap and my bike is outside all the time, my paint chips gonna be rusting up, rat bikes gonna rat etc. Nice array of hills here though, quite refreshing to know i can power up hills apposed to when i started commuting.

That's usually what I tend to do (Abus Sinus Plus) but I consider everywhere mentioned in the video a high traffic area, apart from Little London St. where I wanted to lock closest to. I'm probably overreacting as I'm far too paranoid about locking my bike up, running outside mid pint because I thought my bike cycled past etc., Not a good look!
Aha nice; I was the opposite last time I went out on a ride, I had to stop and sit down as I thought I was going to puke after powering up Rouen Road. Again, not a good look.

@Rikki @bengreen I've become the kind of cyclist who actively enjoys hills, and I can't believe it; too much time spent in the company of @jakjakjak I think!

I think you'll be fine locking your bike up man, just park next to a nicer/equally as nice bike!

Going up or down? ;) Ive been unclipping and blasting down hills recently, thats fun ha. I don't mind hills on the roadie!

I enjoyed the climb, it was the stopping at the traffic lights and having it all catch up with me that done it! I had to sprawl out on that bench outside work aha.
Cheers @bengreen, I'm sure I'm worrying for nothing. By the way my other half has just got a job in the print studio in NUA, she starts in a month, go say hi!

Yep, I avoided it like the plague. The joys of living with a print tech who has an A3 printer ;)

I try to be done 2 days before hand in, with everything printed, then i have two days to maybe have to wait 20 minutes to print 1 sheet or something outrageous

Only once during my time there was I finished with a day to spare, most other times I was working up until a few minutes before hand in; I started at about midday on a Friday and worked through, with literally no break, until about 11am on Monday morning when I handed in. I even ate whilst I worked. I handed in, walked home and lay on the couch at about 12:30 Monday afternoon and slept through until about 6am Tuesday. I've never felt so shit!

That's why education is overrated!
-
• #567
Nah, it was my choice to work that hard!*
*I say that, I had done barely any work and hadn't left myself any other option

I'm fortunate to work in one of the only industries that education doesn't really come into it and can still earn a reasonable wage
I did A Levels in Law, Accounts, IT and a Btec in E-Business -- None of which have been of any use to me or ever asked about in interviews etc

Or we could just ride bicycles.
That's true, I saw a similar lock on the floor next to the rack on St Margarets St. yesterday; I guess We'll probably be ok if we're using good D Locks, as I'd imagine most of us are
