Im looking to get a spoke tension meter and truing stand. With the pound doing well are there any shops on the continent likely to be cheaper than somewhere in the UK? I only really know rose and they only have an very expensive tension meter.

I don't see how you'd get enough compression for it to pop without the chain just pivoting out of the way.
Fit a brake just in case.

Haven't checked for you, but http://www.bike24.com/ and http://www.bike-discount.de/en?currency=3&delivery_country=190 are the two I'd try in Germany.

Depends how slack your chain is! But I'd guess it would fall off before uncoupling.

@fussballclub on the right the threaded bit should have a bolt in it?
-
• #66861
Not on a BR-6600/6700, the bolt goes in from the back and is locked by a grub screw in that threaded hole, plus an orthogonal one in the top of the arm.

Anyone wrapped a frame in vinyl before? Any tips? Or any threads i can see that might help me out?
-
• #66871
Have you not seen my cross bike before it got killed by a tree?
-
• #66872
OH SHIT!
I saw it crushed on instagram I think? You got a thread about how you did it?
-
• #66873
No thread, I just did it.
Measure twice, cut once. Heat gun or a hair dryer would help to stretch and make the wrap more flexible around awkward bits.

What bike?

Look like a Genesis Vapour.
I've got another question in the meantime.
Does anybody know if it's safe to ride fixed and skid on these master links?
