I
m planning on cycle from Venice (it) to Greece next year with a friend and would like some tips from anyone who knows something about this route. Basically we will follow eurovelo 8 route but might keep closer to sea in Montenegro speacially. Would like to know the best time of the year to go - Im considering going on August. Tips regarding secondary roads, camping, wheater, places to visit, etc...everything is more than welcome!!!! We might consider taking train in some parts because we will have 20 days only and we would like to enjoy a bit some special cities we feel like in the way.As I said before, everything info & tips is more than welcome.
This will be our first cycle touring trip and we look forward to it!!
