The Strava Fitness and freshness is much the same as the PMC (performance management chart) that you get from Training peaks. The difference is that strava believes anything Garmin tells it, and training peaks calculates its own stuff. Pretty sure my strava data is royally screwed. Incorrect peak powers, exaggerated altitude gain data, etc. I'd recomend a free strava account for the segment bashing and Virtual Cock waving (Not the sort of Cock waving you do on chat roulete). Then a paid training peaks Subscription.
If you SLVLSS then yes. TP calculates runTSS and swimTSS which are (I think) based on your pace/hr data. Quite how reliable these metrics are, I'm not sure but if when I bulk import files into GC, it always trips over non-cycling workouts.
