Brooklyn Gangsta, Nelson Pista, Pompino & MBK

Just testing the waters but have been having thoughts about selling the track champion.

Just the frame and headset, not sure on wether it's worth building up as I really do prefer the nelson. And I could get something a bit different for the money I would spend.

How much do they go for at the moment and is anyone interested? It's in pretty much perfect condition apart from cosmetic marks. And comes with rad black taped stays.

The trouble with Track Champions is that they are likely to crack around the seat post clamp and BB shell areas (many examples on here). I have one with a crack near the seat post clamp myself and never had any problems but I only use it on the track. So given that many people on here know about that problem I would probably sell it on ebay or gumtree etc. Hope this helps

Yeah knew about that problem a while back, made sure that when I set it up I put the seat up to the right height and never touched it again. Slight paranoia.

But maybe your right, might get a better price on the bay ( as much as I hate it).

For what it's worth I think I got a good one.

Anyone guess on price, 350 new... 200 / 250 now. I could start a nice lo pro project for that :)

always liked nelsons, nice build. didnt know track champions were £350 new? i got mine from dolan for £200 2 years ago..

You could be right, might be mixing it up with +fork and seat post price. They have taken them off their site recently so can't check.

I guess if there re-sale isn't high then I could spray it a different colour or something.

Doesn't ever feel like a selling market 'on here' but £250-£270 seems like a good place to start and then price drop if there isnt much interest.

yeah that makes sense. £200 for frame, £110 for forks and £40 seatpost = £350

Dolan is potentially for sale then, might just put it out there in this thread and see if anyone pm's as not that in a rush to sell.

Currently resto'ing the trispoke as it need a bit of love, paint only.

Speaking of does anyone know where I could get some of the yellow specialized decals??!? I bought these but they are the wrong size

Repainted the trispoke today. The last guy had spray painted fairly badly over the decals, no idea why. @Scilly.Suffolk can't explain it either.

So decided to give it a clean up.

Started removing the stickers.

Then sanded it smooth.

Painted it

Couple of sands and coats

Am pretty happy with the finish

Only managed to do one coat on the other side so will probably give it another coat or 2 next weekend.

Think it looks good tho, put the wrong sized stickers on it for the moment (only have too big or too small)

Sooo dolan has gone to a new home, swapped for this!

Swapped the TC for this was @Uoeno 's before.

Plans is risers and omnoms cus when the Brooklyn comes I will have 2 pairs of omnoms so easiest to just get another bb..
Then will slowly collect nice bits for it when I have more money.

Slow but will end up pretty in a few months time

Yeah not too bad, was it new? I'm pretty shit with threaded headsets but think I have fitted it properly.

Need a 1inch spacer tho.

The previous seller listed the frame to take 26.6 but when i tried to fit one it was too narrow, so I'll say a 26.2/26.4 seat post should do the job.

N yeah, the headset was brand new. Never even fitted it
