That motorcycle was really pulling in there for, what ultimately, was a shittier shot.

indeed, it's an in-between sort of race but hey, it's racing, there's points to be earned, it's in Belgium (Wallonie) and there's cobbles!

He was 11th last year in the Tour of the Basque Country as a neo-pro, so a top ten GC finish should be achievable.

Because the other team had been built around team leaders who are competitors at grand tours.

I think it's admirable what Orica are doing but don't thinj Sky should come in for criticism. Look how well they're handling Luke Rowe, for example.

Any favourites for Strade Bianchi? Spartacus and Sagan are givens, bit for some reason I fancy Uran. I think it might be his flowing locks.

I wouldn't put money on Sagan, but I'm looking forward to seeing him have a go. Maybe he's got some exciting new tactics this year.

Having said that Strade is one of the few races where I genuinely don't give a shit about who wins. I just want to watch this most beautiful race. Bellisimo! It's going to be a great big birthday treat for me.
