That motorcycle was really pulling in there for, what ultimately, was a shittier shot.

indeed, it's an in-between sort of race but hey, it's racing, there's points to be earned, it's in Belgium (Wallonie) and there's cobbles!
the pic is a section in the last couple of km before the finish I believe

Another chance gone for Etixx despite a pretty good numerical advantage you'd have to say.
Strade Bianchi(e?) next. Shame Kwiatkowski isn't there to defend his title.

Simon Yates is leading OGE at Paris Nice. Will be interesting to see how he gets on.
-
• #614
In his 2nd year. Wow! Would never have happened in the other team.
-
• #616
He was 11th last year in the Tour of the Basque Country as a neo-pro, so a top ten GC finish should be achievable.
-

Because the other team had been built around team leaders who are competitors at grand tours.
I think it's admirable what Orica are doing but don't thinj Sky should come in for criticism. Look how well they're handling Luke Rowe, for example.

Any favourites for Strade Bianchi? Spartacus and Sagan are givens, bit for some reason I fancy Uran. I think it might be his flowing locks.

Observation, not criticism!

I wouldn't put money on Sagan, but I'm looking forward to seeing him have a go. Maybe he's got some exciting new tactics this year.

Is Matthews riding it for OGE?

Vanmarcke must be hungry.
Knowing his luck he'll need a spare wheel at a crucial point.

I'm going Gerrans as my 'outsider' - only because it's an unknown after his injury.
Having said that Strade is one of the few races where I genuinely don't give a shit about who wins. I just want to watch this most beautiful race. Bellisimo! It's going to be a great big birthday treat for me.

Mathews is riding Paris-Nice, Adam Yates is leading OGE at Strade along with Gerrans
Watching it now. Nasty, narrow sections of cobbles.
Not a stellar line up and some teams I've never heard of.
Thomas de Gendt going for a long one.
