@fizzy.bleach gf admitted to moving/losing it so went to buy me one today. Is just so annoying as until the crank arms are off I can't tell if it's buggered the crank too or just the bb spindle. Also can't remember bb length/size/type even tho I suspect 68x103 it could be 68x107.
I'm going to buy more risers I think.

All new drivetrain commute = how do you replicate the factory lube job on Shimano chains?
-

(Scroll down to post #5 if that url doesn't automatically).
(It's from an interview with a Shimano tech about how chains are greased in the factory.)

Bus overtook me just before the turn from high holborn bus lane into new oxford st. Almost ran me into the curb/barriers. He took offence at my giving him the finger and said he gave me plenty of room...
Reported to tfl. Report to roadsafe too? -

Fast overtake and left hook on tight residential street by motorcyclist. Managed to avoid careering into his rear wheel by inches as he peeled off.
Called out "What the fuck!?"
Got "Wanker" gesture in return...GIF:http://i.imgur.com/9mShdod.gifv
Otherwise a lovely ride.

Borrowed @jesm 's rear wheel as mine is fucked. Nice and smooth, lovely gliding along. Get halfway to work have to stop quick behind some bikers. Apply pressure, rear cog just comes off...
Roll through the traffic, cut up a few commuters and fix it by the side of the road. Didn't even think to check if the wheel had a lockring. It doesn't...
Very tentatively cycle the rest of the way to work.
Otherwise lovely day 9 / 10 would moron again

Was a nice ride until an oncoming car decided to turn right across my path.

I saw someone the other day on one of those airwheels. Looks like you can buy them at Curry's for £750, or ebay old models for £300.
I'd assume that they'd fall foul of the same rules as segways and not actually be legal to use anywhere.
They also appear to weigh about the same as a brompton

Presumably he couldn't see you 'cos the mud acted as camouflage.
Hope you're ok buddy.
Had the spindle on my crank bend/snap/crack/something not right last night so riding the pompino. Bars are waaaay to forward and narrow 42cm drops, it just feels nasty riding drops too. Need to get another crank puller as I lost my one and then have a better look at what's fucked but I can see a crack on one side of the square taper bit.
4/10 pompino needs work
