I thought you sold this? 700c or 650c fork? What is max extension from bb c to seat rail please?
-

Hi there, I've offered this one earlier but something came in between. Regarding front wheel; 700c.
Max. extension from centre BB to seat rail 78cm. -

Sold last year??? Or did the sale fall through? Regardless, GWLS, would be good to see this frame stay in LFGSS :D

As shown by pedalroom Hooker framegeometry offers frontwheel option 650c as well as 700c. Frame and fork as offered by me is rear and front 700c

Well...i doubt the truth regarding this offer. First, the pictures show exactly the frame kit which i had bought many months ago. I build the bike shown in the pedalroom-link - so i am not talking bs. Second, 222 GBP are a joke and not a reasonable price. Such frame kits easily go for nearly 2000 US$ on ebay.com...
I would recommend a certain kind of attention.
Cheers,
Sebastian

By the way - the Cat. 1 always came with 700c at both ends... The used lo pro geometry without 650c front wheels...

Yeah, saw one go for well over the $1300 mark on eBay, and that was a scruffy one too. OP's post history also only has two threads, this one, and one from four month's back of where he supposedly sold this exact Hooker frame to a person in Italy.
Smells all fishy to me!

I really love this frameset and I have set up an eBay auto-search since it was listed & sold on here 4 months ago.
Maybe @Velocio can confirm if @ADD_I_C_T is legit...
Also the frame has shrunk by 1cm in 4 months so it is now officially my size :-)

...and i the ID number below the BB shell is identical to mine which is #60 made by Hooker and not a 60 cm frame...
Furthermore, the brakes are missing to this frame kit...i needed to pay 600 US$ for my pair :-I

i noticed the brakes were missing but would tririgs, a campag center pull or tektro 725 not have fitted? either way seller has gone silent it seems..i wont be investing so...i'm out.

A Hooker frame needs Hooker brakes... Campy Delta won´t fit under the bb bracket - too big. Same to Dura Ace ax. Tririg could do the job, but they´re everything but periodically correct...
In general, if you want to run the front and rear brake cables through the stem, you MUST use Hooker brakes. If you change the stem (brrrr...), you´re able to use standard front brake and maybe Tririg rear brake after intensive mods... The Hooker brakes work different to all other Delta brakes, because they don´t require cable stop. The cable runs to them without any housing...
The frame kit always came incl. the brakes - with a good reason.
Here´s a picture of a factory fresh Cat. 1 frame kit.

i meant this brake, i know its not period correct, thing is if i had one of these frames i would have used it - non uci rules TT events - and not just have it as trophy. -

I'm unable to confirm legitimacy of the person or sale, but given the comments above I would view this advert as suspect and if interested would exercise extreme caution. If you really want to proceed, attempt to validate the identity of the person in advance, pay only by PayPal (not the gift option), and use a Credit Card with PayPal (so you have easy chargeback ability).
Truth is though... I wouldn't do it.

Sure, but be sure that these frames are made of extremely thin alloy tubes with weird shapes. Many frames already suffered from splits around the welds - just because the welds had been smoothed out extremely and this hadn´t a positive effect on the durability at all. Müsing did this also and created a hell of problems with it. Principia went right, because they added filler onto the welds to create a smooth look. A Hooker is a trophy and should be ridden with a hell of care and respect. It´s neither a daily driver nor a bike for intensive competition. Add it to the wall and ride it 3-4 times a year when the sun is shining and you are keen for a super stiff and also bumpy ride an iconic bike.
Withdrawn from sale Hooker Elite Cat. 1
