In his autobiography he talks of not liking that photo, as it portrays him as a thug, when he was anything but - hard yet fair. IIRC he'd been kicked on the leg he had just recovered from breaking by Bremner, thus the reaction, and one of the most iconic footballing images. Apparently SAF kept a framed print of it on his office wall.
