  • I have a question. I'm vaguely thinking for changing the fork on my straggler to a carbon CX disc fork. It would be an easy way of saving a huge amount of weight as the straggler fork weighs a ton.
Are there any downsides to doing this? and if not what would be a good fork to go for which doesn't break the bank?

  • Seems reasonable, friend raced with some Easton CX forks on his Cross Check for a while, very light but quite pricey.

Downsides are probably cost, losing millions of eyelets and losing some clearance (depending on the fork)

  • I'll keep the originals for when i tour on it. but for general stuff I don't need the millions of eyelets.

those easton forks are nice but a little pricey!
