Find a test that's repeatable hence turbo is good for that.

Try commute one day and leave the lights at granny speed as if you cranks would break if you pushed down. If you can be arsed also just get the power file and see whatime spend in upper zones is. Or count the number of peaks over 350W
I gave up testing. I just know roughly what my FTP is and use that figure. And I know when it's growing. Either due to training session or sensations.
