I can see a use for just one of them, and even that's only if you're a panda.

To suggest otherwise would be lunacy. Also- did Farage go to school?

if anyone can shed any light on this little tosspot, the forum hive mind is required to help find out where this fella lives and where he works, it'd be nice for his employers to know if they don't already
-
• #34211
The man was arrested and sentenced already.

• #34212
And he looks just like the bloke from Dragon's Den too.

Absolutely horrific. This city really is fucked
http://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/horrifying-moment-teenager-was-stabbed-to-death-as-he-rode-bike-with-friends-in-islington-10081479.htmlEvery time I see this kind of shit, I think more and more about leaving this place for the sake of my kids which is so depressing as I define myself as a Londoner
-
• #34215
Stabbed someone just so he can sell a bike for £100.
-
• #34216
The stabbing looked completely unnecessary. (Not that it ever is necessary!) Why not just push the poor guy off his bike like all his other scaly mates do?
-
• #34217
as horrific as this is, i do reckon incidents like this are still pretty isolated considering the population size of london. The fact that this incident makes front page news is also somewhat reassuring considering where i (and many others) are from, this sort of awfulness happens on an industrial scale, so much so it barely warrants a mention in the dailies.
rip young lad, i hope they find your killers and they get to to spend the rest of their miserable, shit-stained lives in the deepest hole imaginable.

good point well made.

It happens more often than it is reported, usually in areas that the gubment knows are deprived but still see fit to remove funding from the youth services they blame for not doing enough to engage the young people to mitigate against it. Last fatal stabbing in Islington was only a couple of weeks ago. This is very likely to do with stupid turf war stuff, I very much doubt the stealing of the bike was the primary or underlying motive. The kid didn't even need to be involved in anything, probably just wasn't recognised by the attackers. mrs_com runs/is heavily involved in 3 youth centres in Islington (not the table tennis & pool table kind) and is expecting to see tit for tat bullshit for the next few weeks.

• #34220
Yeah, it didn't look like they were only after the bikes.
-
• #34221
They must be quite close to catching them no?

No, I think retributional justice is wrong. As is corporal punishment. And the instigation of internet lynch mobs.
-
• #34225
Think of it less as retributional justice and more as enforced empathy.
All of them except one are extremely ugly, and the odd one out is merely ugly. :)
