You mean from bikes locked up in London? In your experience is it quicker to remove the seat post and saddle or just the saddle?
-
• #9
Hey -- I'm keen for the House of Vans saddle if it's still going? Do you have a picture?

Well done mate, don't let these forum trolls put you off. Just ignore them.

Good mix of moralising and people trying to get a bargain in these threads.

and carry on pedaling merchandise of dubious provenance?
This is a cycle forum full of cyclists from London. Most have probably had to put up with that sinking angry feeling a bike thief so readily dishes out, I know I have more than once.
This guy seems dodgy as hell and all that is requested is some idea of how, where and why he seems to have such an amazing array of stuff to sell at super cheap prices, cash in hand with no contact details.
No explanation has as yet been forthcoming, so his threads are getting trolled. Its all part of the community forum service you see.

You're happy to buy goods that may have been stolen?
-

Or to look at it another way..... He's happy to buy goods that might NOT be stolen. Ever thought of that? Do one? Lol sounds like you're from up north.
If you took your so called rationality to a courtroom you'd be laughed at and thrown out before you could get in. WHY?? no evidence. Refrain from making public assumptions about someone and damaging their character unless you have evidence. I do not know Mr kmsway, but people on these forums are very quick to judge others.

might NOT be stolen
"Might not be stolen", is below the level of certainty that most decent people need before buying second hand bike parts. Any seller unwilling or able to do better than that should be treated with caution.

What makes you think there's a problem with you guys. Did I say that? Once again reading between the lines and making your own assumptions are we? Lol. You guys got security issues or something? Hilarious. Yes some of the best comedians are northerners, so let's be honest, there's definitely something to laugh with. Do one.

Hi All.
I spoke to Sacredheart off-list to explain that I wouldn't buy stolen goods. I was trying to get a picture to show the police, and to see if it was my House of Vans London/Charge saddle that was stolen from my bike outside London Fields Lido on Friday. I haven't yet seen a picture from the seller, or proof where he got it from, so can't make any solid conclusions as to whether it is stolen. All I will say is that those saddles are very rare. None were ever sold to the public, they were given to media and friends of Vans, and the timing of mine going missing on Friday, and one being sold here this week would make me want proof of where the seller got it from before buying it.
