Tricked out folding bikes?

I'm considered getting a folding bike.
Ive got a shed-full of sweet BMX parts and I'm having a terrible urge to trick out an old 20' folder, is there people that have done this already?

My day-to-day bike is a Dawes Kingpin that I built up about a year ago. It's hella-sick. I'd be more than happy to help you out if you need any tips on converting them, upgrading parts etc.

Fun to tool around on and lightweight.

Had a Dura-Ace 7600 high-flange hub-set for it until I realised the front forks were some weird size..

Yeah, the 84mm front hub is a problem on those. You have one option and that's it.

I rebuilt my rear with a profile BMX hub spaced out to 120mm and running a 10t driver. Mine is SS 39/10

Since I fixed mine up last I've changed those super-light v brakes for Magura hydraulic rim brakes. The braking is the best I have on any bike anywhere.

@object is planning something special and foldy... I'll let him fill you in, if he feels like it...

Someone came in to the office yesterday with a Moulton TSR-2 belt drive all tricked out. It looked ace

I used to ride this Dahon Mu Uno fixed.

It was previously owned by @socialamnesia who fitted a Goldtec rear track hub and @eyebrows (who did not ride it much).

I added a TRP carbon brake lever, camo bar tape, a KMC chain, a Turbo saddle and Titanium/CNC pedals to it.

It is now in the hands of @kehng

Yeah, and only £800 on Kickstarted preorder apparently. Plus import duties I imagine. I'm interested, but it would need to work with mudguards.
