Though I now have the cable for my Exposure lights that turns them into a USB power supply.

If the standard K-Edge is the same as the XL one designed for the Edge 1000 you won't be able to charge on the move as the mount covers the charging port.

Good luck with the super glue.

Bollocks
The hacked K Edge mount will work with the booster cable and Edge 1000.

The genuine K Edge XL mount gets in the way of the booster cable getting to the charge port.

Both would work fine with my 800. I wonder if a 90 degreee micro usb cable might work.
