Nobody likes a deflected goal but sounded like Spurs had no answer once chelsea went ahead.
If poch does really well at Spurs he will be offered a job at a bigger team thus leaving you in a position to get back on with the cycle.
Liverpool are on a hell of a run and would much rather see them rewarded with top four than arsenal and Man Utd right now.
Utd need to bite the bullet this summer and say goodbye to van Gaal.
Potentially a very exciting week for Albion with two games against Villa. Would love to put some nails in their coffin and get a trip to Wembley and no better place to do that than in the half empty stadium down the road -

^ Up until "Potentially a very...": what an absolute load of non-substantiated ill-informed discharge... Read up or even better, watch some football first; then comment.

Oh Festus, I'm cut to the core.
The joke was in the comment you knob, does anyone offer insightful analysis on here ever? It's just piss taking, no?

In all seriousness Liverpool played really well today, on the back of an away extra time game in Europe, they out hustled city in midfield and pressed high and with great energy. with two cracking goals. credit where credit is due .

rich, effra was a clusterfuck. one of the big screens was given over to the rugger. and only switched to the football after. place was packed with rugby types.
the only silver lining is none of them were singing after the game ended. this plastic paddy took some solace in that.
oh, and hope you get playing soon dude. new york needs your vision and hustle dude

Eh? What? When did Rich move out of south London?

It's been a phenomenal turn around from getting duffed at palace. But the latter halves to br's seasons are always strong. To think it's been done minus a fit forward all season. The next problem for us is keeping hold of our bright young things. You fear the pull of the Spanish big 2 on someone like Phillipe Coutinho who looks to have added finishing to his game before LFC have the chance to win stuff together.
Scary part is they still have a couple of levels to rise. Don't forget we were accused of doing a spurs no that long ago.

No MancRonny so far with his witty humour. Goals number one and two of the season right there. How the fuck did Coutinho score that. Peligrini >>>>>> I am certain City will come for BR at the end of the season and BR will tell them to do one. We are looking pure class at the moment
Kompany and Troure are starting to look like a right couple of donkeys -
• #115794
So upset, we weren't over awed, we didn't look second best, just didn't threaten enough, courtois had an easy game of it...
Gutting to lose to two deflected goals, which lloris was moving to save.
Silver linings, we're heading in the right direction, Dier fronting up to Costa, Eriksen's work rate, mason and bentaleb looking solid in midfield. Need another striker and Lamela to fulfil some of that potential. The Sheriff needs to crack the whip and make sure there's no post final slump, which is hopefully easier since we didn't win the fucker, as we try and make 4th spot our own.
@cliveo, hope you and the daughters had a grand day out, @>>>>>> should have been there you and Scouse Kevin could have shouted abuse at the rugger buggers all afternoon long.

Thank you Corney. It was a decent result although Tottenham never threatened. It was a surprise that Keane didn't get a game.
Wembley is a very badly designed and organised stadium.
Sour note of the day was coming out of the station to be greeted by a couple of hundred Tottenham "fans" chanting racist and homophobic abuse. The policeman, to whom we complained said "Yes we heard it but what do you expect us to do? There are hundreds of them and only two of us."

You'll do us twice. We're fucking toothless, have zero confidence and haven't had any luck to boot. There's no way we'll beat the drop this time and certainly don/t deserve to be going to Wembley.

• #115798
It certainly is. It seems that whoever can avoid drowning in their own piss will succeed. We were getting a bit cocky...

Such a shit team, bring nothing to the party. Really feel for the fans, but (a bit like Villa) it might just be better if they went down, cleared out the rot and came back up in a season or two.
Well that was disappointing. We were the better team in the first half - but Mourinho teams just don't lose finals.. Blah blah...
We didn't win. I still think pochettino can break the annoyingly accurate cycle @dubtap posted.. But he'll need another year or two.
