  • Did Bouhanni hit the barriers? Maybe with his pedal?

Great win but not a great leadout by Quickstep was it? They left him with a big gap to get across to Kristoff's wheel.

  • Did Cav just say Peeters didn't think he could do it?

  • Couldn't work out what he was saying. Clarity of speech not always his forte.

Overhead shows Bouhanni having a major wobble.

  • Very clever sprint from Cav, thought he was too far back and a MTN rider barged Renshaw(?) away, but he just threaded his way onto the right wheel

  • Gotta be happy with a British double header this weekend. A sign for Wiggins to get p-r?

  • Bloody Brits, going over to Belgium, nicking their races ... oh, hang on.

  • what I meant was '...tough record to beat, even on an aero bike'

  • Is this the best start to a season ever by Brits?

Froome wining in Spain then stannard and cav this weekend.

  • Like the 'Race Paint' that all the hoon cars back home were covered in 10+ years ago.

  • Cav is most winningest also, and let's not forget Geraint's impressive win in the Algarve, even if he is a Welsh

  • Quite right. I've long wondered what the point is of sticking cobbled sections in if everyone then rides on the footway. There was a controversy at last year's KBK, wasn't there?

  • Oh that's great

  • The rules say they're no allowed to, they do anyway, and nothing is done.

  • if there's no barriers, riders choose where they want to ride

  • They're quite likely fined for doing it. The fine is small and the team pays the fine. No problemo.

  • ^^ Quitters, the lot of them.

  • Apparently they can ride off the road, and Stannard only stayed on the cobbles because he missed a move (http://inrng.com/2015/03/you-can-ride-off-road/)

  • Hey yo, that Paris-Nice Sky team looks really odd.

  • Odd how? Bernhard Eisel, Lars-Petter Nordhaug, Richie Porte, Nicolas Roche, Luke Rowe, Ben Swift, Geraint Thomas, Bradley Wiggins. Looks alright to me.

  • Have they said who's leading? Presumably Porte or Roche.

Only looks odd in that its a bit bloody good and one of three or four riders could be leader.

  • Titchie Ritchie is leading, no? Watch him win then disappoint again when he leads the team at the Giro.

  • Shame they're not riding for Thomas, after him leading the race last year until he crashed and his excellent win in the Algarve this year.

  • Perhaps they'll decide it on the road, like the Algarve, where Porte was nominal leader

  • GP Le Samyn this afternoon on Eurosport 2 (streams via procyclinglive), startlist here
