Yes. :) Yes = terrible idea.

In that case, relace it 2 cross with some new spokes. Either way, all heads out is a bad idea for any lacing pattern with crosses.

I have a 1x wheel where the spokes wouldn't touch unless they were all head-out. The wheel has ridden absolutely fine, street and track, for about six years.

I feel like getting dirty - Can someone elabarote on this conflict? The 'touch' in the 1X cross would be rather subtle I reckon.
