Jan Van Der Stannard
-
• #485
Absolutely amazing.
-
• #486
Stannard. The English Valverde. Well done.
-
• #487
Hahahahaa yesss Stannard
lefevere's probably smashing his head into the nearest solid thing
-
• #488
Wow! C'mon Tim.
-
• #489
Oh my days. What a machine that man is.
I've never seen anyone down two bottles of juice like that.
-
• #490
Oof. Why did they start attacking him? Should have taken it to a 4 man sprint. 20/20 hindsight.
-
• #491
How many km has he been beaten up by Quickstep?
40?
I think it's fair to say the strongest rider won!
-
• #492
beaten up? how?
-
• #493
You would have never called Stannard when it was three against one, fucking incredible ride
-
• #494
Because he would to lead any chase obvs. And they had half a team to burn.
-
• #495
I followed it on the twitter. I can't wait to watch it later and see just how Quickstep managed it.
(Without taking anything from Stannard, 3 against 1 should be a victory and nothing less.)
Bloody good job though Ian.
-
• #496
Yeah he just stayed all back of the bus, only took one turn at the front I saw, let EQS do all the work.
Then took a shit on them
-
• #497
about 2km, he sat on till the end, did absolutely no pulling in that 4, same as Stybar with Van Arvermendt and Van Marcke.
Tactically I have no clue why Boonen attacked, leave that to Terpstra and Vandernbergh, leave Stannard to smoke himself chasing whilst sitting on his wheel and then come round him at the end.
How a "classics squad" fucked up that bad is beyond me
-
• #498
As good a win as you will ever see.
-
• #499
Letting a gap develop, letting him pull it back, over and over.
-
• #500
Tactical genius from Sky, who'd have thought it?
Lefevere should hang himself
