How much was it all in from Hong Fu?

My DIYbike rear wheel seems to drag a tad when free wheeling, is this a trait of Chinese wheelsets? Can I do anything about it, apart from the obvious and don't freewheel before anyone says it. Google throws up videos of folk removing pawls which seems extreme

• #3379
remove freehub, clean, re-grease with good stuff, no need to remove pawls

Thanks. A good grease being?
-
• #3381
Any molybdenum disulphide grease from your motor factor according to tester.

phil wood if you want the best of the best, or lithium grease (castrol is cheap/decent)

£360 shipped. £38 customs including the shitty handling fee (they marked down to 75USD)

Might be a missing pawl in that freehub which is dragging

Anyone ever had trouble with aliexpress? skeptical that it doesn't use paypal..
-
• #3389
Nope - its fine, payment is made to aliexpress who hold the payment until the goods are delivered/time limit has expired and only then forward it to the seller, so its very biased towards the buyer and very easy to get refund etc if an item doesn't arrive/is damaged/not as described.

Brill, much cheaper than ebay!

nvm

I'm finding that out now unfortunately. Been a few hours and the payment still hasnt been confirmed. Frustrating.

Chinese New Year innit. Businesses reopen after five days... which is tomorrow I think.
-
• #3394
Funny that people still think aliexpress is like some dodgy central china market. Biggest IPO in history and worlds largest online marketplace.
-
• #3395
Yeah AliExpress is great, I've been ordering loads of stuff there. It's not that they don't support PayPal, it's the other way round. PayPal was acquired by eBay so they don't support eBay's direct competitors; Amazon isn't supported either.

I am most interested in something similar to these forks. But I need to know fork crown diameter and rake before buying. Has anybody seen similar forks or this exact model elsewhere?
