I basically registered about five times because I didn't trust the new online system to work properly. A rep came to my door after my second registration attempt to take my name down (on paper, with a pen) and then handed me an envelope (addressed specifically to me, already printed) saying "you're not done yet! Register online to finish blah blah".
Not exactly confidence-inspiring.
I might register online again, actually.
Would one get dropped of the electoral register if one forgot to reply to one of those 'please confirm your details' letters? Just tried to update my details online and register for postal vote, and I was told that I wasn't already on the electoral register, which I am sure I am...
