Still growing O.o
-

nope, just took good advice to use a post that extends internally below where the seat-tube extension meets the toptube.
Here it is now...
-
• #918
How much and how long is the post ? do you think just over 2 inches in is enough ?
-
• #919
it is enough, but not if you have a 2 inch seattube extension. needs to go below the toptube level.

Apologies for the blatant targeted spam, but if anyone with big feet wants some cheap summer shoes...

I think the size 47 is putting a lot of people off :(
-
• #921
what's the reason for having a seat tube extension?
-
• #922
it's paired with the toptube extension... larger effective frame, but a 'sunk' toptube to maintain frame stiffness.
-
• #923
But surely having a larger effective frame is kinda pointless if you've still gotta have a seatpost going down to the tt and the handlebars are still dropped. That is unless you meant head tube extension rather than top tube extension?
(To clarify I'm not digging into you or it, just wondering)

That is one good looking bike... Would love to get my hands on a frame with similar geo.

That has to be the result of a Leonard Zinn bike fit session.
