No "00" nor even a "0". How is the house going to make any money?

Also that bike is sorely in need of royal flush cranks.

Ahh fuck. Just noticed that @Greenbank made my 'joke' before me. #lifsux #whyme #dankmemes

Somehow mixing fixed gear, recumbent and unicycle design into the holy trifecta of awkwardness. Also that second chainring just chillin'... wow.

It's a ghost ring, sometimes seen on the timing chain of a tandem instead of the more common eccentric front BB, also on singlespeed conversions with vertical dropouts where there is no magic gear solution.

Yup. The headtube angle makes the bikes look far far stupider than they already are too.

I do quite like that frame but build is shite.

Prob an attempt to make moar comfortable as b4. These old pursuits were really torture machines.

I don't know if it's just me, but Ricky seems to be knocking out some right dogs at the moment. May just be the Brooks thing, but both of these elicited a massive "meh".
Proof that 'The customer is always right' is absolute bollocks.
It might just be the 'overbuilt single speed' thing.

Nout wrong with that Mixte. Its sensible.

I want to like it, but something is stopping me. I know it should be nice but meh. I don't really like his faux-quill ahead stems much, and Paul (is that what they are) cranks always seem to ruin a build.
Shifter and rear hub also look clunky, I think chrome guards would break it up a little bit.
The yellow one is in a hard size (52?) to make look good. Gu walls end up looking like colour matched tyres. No saddle/bar drop and a rear brake just add to the misery. Add the Paul cranks and you've got yourself a doozie.
It baffles me that if they were custom builds for Brooks then why not make the yellow one in a sensible size? Having said that, I, pretty sure the Mixte was for a customer, so yellow one prob is as well.
Something confuses me about paying £1.5K (and waiting 12 months) for a single speed/hub gear/town bike, tbh.
I fucking love his HSS builds, but some of his customers have pooooor taste. Give me Talbot any day o't week.

Colour me informed. Never seen that before. Does it hurt efficiency or decrease chain life?

Efficiency should be slightly better than using a sprung tensioner with a jockey wheel, as the ghost ring has exactly zero bearing losses and the chain roller and side plate friction would be about the same.

I like the green one.

changed your tune then?
