Funny how people are hard to recognise when got up in heavy motorbike gear. And hard to hear. Luckily I have learnt not to swear at every motorcyclist who talks to me, nor to attempt a withering glare, and have learnt that there's a fair chance it will be that famous ex-cyclist Soul checking why I'm not riding the BMC.
