Exactly why not to wash them. If you wash them you lose the raw indigo look so no surprises you want a new pair every 6 months.
I really only wear my jeans at the weekend, though non stop, so I don't feel any pressing need to wash them anyway.

Thanks, the question was a very practical will they shrink when washed? In which this they would not fit me anymore after washing.

i would wash them and them wear them for a solid week to mould to my shape to see how they look, i think the whole don't wash your jeans thing is quite a lot of hype, i wash them when they start to smell and have 12 pairs on rotation - some go through the wash once a month probably, they won't last as long but they have faded to a colour and shape that i like so all good. I do find every six months or so i crave a fresh pair of dry indigo selvedge though!
