^ ..is this the sun coming out just after the rain-colours, or is it the fuji in a vivid mode? either way, very nice!
The bottom one is a nice frame.
What is this yellow thing??That second one! Dayuum.
Ha, thanks.
You know I sort-of made a promise to refrain from shooting "graphic wankery" like this, but honestly I'm so frustrated after weeks of grey, grey and grey here in Berlin - I just want to fill the whole fucking frame with colour, so.. -

Cheers - yeah, I used the Astia profile in adobe camera raw and upped the contrast. No idea what the yellow thing is but it was next to a petrol station (hence all the water).
The sun has finally started coming out a bit more here as well. About fucking time. -

Like the top one with the disco ball (?), and also the Azerbaijan Visa Centre. How would it look if you corrected the converging verticals?

Eck. I feel very clumsy and very much out of practice. Camera did better than I, and I've still got lots to learn about it - its metering performances, getting used to the viewfinder, etc...
Anyway, went to 6music festival and drank more than is wise to drink on a Sunday night. Only a very few unremarkable/passable photos from the night. British Sea Power were class, and should have headlined. Neneh Cherry did not play Buffalo Stance.

Nice. Great light and crowd shots, not easy getting something decent if you aren't in the pit. Would have loved to have gone to the 6 music festival, I'm at fashion week. I bought a monopod today just so I could get this shot at Burberry's show:
The fashion council are using it on their instagram and it's currently got 2144 likes. Likes on my instagram feed: 11.

Thanks man! I don't always mind being back in the crowd - provides nice context I think. Festival was great - the Sage is such a good venue anyway but they really made it special.
2144 well deserved likes, I reckon. It's ace! Did the fashion council teef the photo, or are you shooting for them?

Nah, shooting for them. It's cool.
Not been to the Sage, will have to check it out when I'm next up.@WillMelling love the shadows one. Abstract. strokes beard

Lovely tones in those pictures. Really like the three last ones together in a series like that.

Had some snaps printed out 'properly' for the first time yesterday. Very happy with the results, and this place- http://www.theprintspace.co.uk/ . Only issue is, I noticed a small amount of blurring in the corners, so the voice in my head is crying for a new camera.

I'm fancying another lense for my X-pro 1. I love the 18mm to bits, its an amazing bit of kit, but I miss my trusty Nikkor 16-85mm for the ultrawide to portrait zoom. I would be very happy with another prime, as long as it doesn't break the bank, but a mid zoom would also be ok. Nothing that can cripple my bank account.
I'm wondering if i should get the 18-55mm, but that might not be enough... maybe the 50-230mm but that seems like its a lot for suspiciously little. I should probably save for the 55-200mm

I have a Canon 700d and i'm looking for that holy grail "cheaper" and semi "all/walking around" lens. Is there any other recomendations than a Tamron 17-50 (maybe the VC) lens?

^ This. It also comes in 40mm flavour if that's your thing.

I have a platic fantastic 50mm 1.8, so i'm looking for something more versatile.
