My repaired NJS on Audax duties. Did 240km in all on it yesterday and really enjoyed it all, got some funny looks and a little bit of respect. I like the idea of it being raced and crashed in japan, repaired in Manchester for cheap and now commuting everyday and doing long rides in the wind, snow and rain in the Northwest of England.
Considering putting a 0 degree stem on it to get the bars a bit higher next time I do 200+km, and always searching for the right saddle, but apart from that I just love this bike to bits.
Apologies about the AWFUL photo, was too tired to try and take a better one...

Hehe, ok, for a rat/beater it'll be good enough.
Thanks for the info!

Gonna have lolz with this round the Lea Valley road circuit tomorrow night. 13t sprocket & real pedals to install, also got work out how to stop my nuts being crushed.

Not legal for LVV ..

Which part of 'road circuit' didn't you read?

Bar extension plugs?
-

Still not legal (Lee Valley Velopark = LVV)
If they have same rules as the races .. there was a crash last weds during the open session

Sorry to hear that, but it does sort of come with riding a bike...
I presumed he would be thrashing around on his own and that road legal was good enough (plus plugs, as Adrev so rightly says, I've seen a core sample of a thigh taken at Brands Hatch years ago!).

Yeah just read the T&C and it says; 2 working brakes and bars should be taped/grips with bar ends .. so i guess just a bar end plug and rear brake away ..

Aero bars are fine for the open sessions. Bar plugs are a good shout though. Anyone got a snub-nose TT saddle I can borrow?
-
• #99769
2 brakes on the normal road is counted by a fixed wheel and a front brak, why would the road track be different?
-
• #99770
No you need to have 2 hand operated brakes at LVV (what I was told when I went there)
But if it's not busy there's loads of low fence that's unguarded...

• #99771
You don't need one, you'll be riding on the nose of the saddle anyway, like every other tester, I doubt if more than 1 in 10 testers have a TT specific saddle. The mudguards probably won't help your aeros.....

i agree, but frame is way to low for me, so risers for this time. :S

Does include time trials? If so that's a shame.

Yeah absolutely. If you look around on aliexpress you can find cheaper sets too if you want silver. That's the only shop doing black ones that I could find though.
