I was just thinking of ones I used to go to a fair bit. Now I'm in the City there's not much choice. We have more German options than Belgian. Working next door to the Dovetail would've killed me a couple of years ago. Go to Ghent or Brugges both are quite nice and have lots of good bars. There's bars all over the country but if you're taking your missus then she'll like the pretty canals and stuff in the old town parts.

I never end up going so much, my coworkers only want to drink some tasteless Fosters afterwork! Actually if you find yourself around and want to go for a good (aka proper) beer just drop me a line!
Funny this is she's been to Bruges already, and in reality I was hoping to put together a quick 4-5 days bike trip, with short rides and long stops at some of the breweries down there.. Most of the details are still up in the air tho
