At that price in guessing they're jut a cover

55 is cleat plus cover according to the speedplay page. No mention of price of covers, only that they will ve available separately

fair play to speedplay then, roughly that'd be £36 retail price, probably a bit less market price, normal cleats are £32 online at the moment, so no upcharge for the new covers...

speedplay being good to it's customers, maybe they've turned a corner
