took @Rodolfo 's advice and installed a longer seatpost that goes far enough below the toptube not to risk the extension snapping, also, ditched the clips and straps for trusty old ATACs

Looks great, good advice too. I think @adrevporn snapped his frame by having too short a post? Maybe I'm remembering wrong.

It's CK pink mixed by Hoops, looks unreal under proper lights. This is going to be the writing and stripe detail colour, rest will be black.

Cheers boys. I'm looking it slightly more discreet as it's going to be a very expensive daily-do-everything bike so don't want it standing out too obvious.. When I order a roadie from them it's gonna be in your face though ;)

New stem for my oak, I decided the Enve one was a bit too fat for the steel tubes. Repositioned the bars a bit, may rotate them up a touch more. The saddle is in the middle of the clamp so not actually as far forward as it looks in the photo.

@arup builds good wheels for a good price in south

got 6800 group to go on this. just waiting on wheels to arrive before building up. tempted to splurge on some (non-budgeted-for) king cages, gumwall veloflex masters, & latex tubes. hmm
