BR has done something a few times.. a player not doing all that well is taken out of the squad for a while. This might be to focus on our way of playing rather than be distracted by match specifics.. everytime this has happened the player has come back all the better. Ballo, Lovren, Moreno and Lazar all spring to mind...

What comment is that^ related to, Pun?
Right now I'm very happy with BR, like we said, if he got through that worst start to season® stuff then he'd be good. I like the way he's handled each player on their individual personalities, dropping/inclusion/time out to clear their heads. Gutted to not get the chance to see this team play CL footy.

Come on mate...few said it was a terrible deal at the time. Risky? Yes but not bad. His last three games suggest something may have clicked in his head. If he keeps his current trajectory he'll have been worth it. He's such an easy scapegoat. Steven G needs to keep his mouth firmly closed rather than throwing current members under the bus for the media to feast on.
Henderson for all free kicks and penalties is madness- deffo not with Mario or Rickie on the pitch (who have top top records for conversion). He didn't have the look of a man that knew he would score.
