I've got 700×35 Marathons on my KH XC (38mm outside width) rims, they're fine in terms of ride and handling, but they are more or less slick tyres with plenty of tread wrap. If you're thinking knobbly tyres, you have to consider how fitting tyres designed for relatively narrow rims is going to affect the shape of the tread, basically you run the risk of riding off the side of the tread at large lean angles.

Right, Kris Holm 29ers are back in stock at that unicycle place. Before I order one, is there owt better out there at that kinda price?
Also, is a 2.1" tyre too narrow for running on that rim?
