Do have a play with one in a shop. Personally I think they're great. I also have a Ricoh GR which I use for cycling and general put-in-pocket-just-in-case stuff, and the x100t I take out when I have something more specific in mind. It works quite well for that. I'm liking limiting myself to fixed lenses, also. Makes me spend more time trying to take photos and less wondering which lens I should be using.
