Ah, I see - the PM was in reply to the original. I had no idea that you could unfollow and delete a PM, nor understand why you'd want to, especially when the other party has no idea?
Anyway, not to worry - at least that explains things. It's nothing major though, just that the rear caliper you sold me in the Centaur groupset isn't quite up to scratch. The allen key adjuster is stuck in position and the allen bolt is rounded. I know you can adjust using the nut, but that's not really the point. Also, the anchor and bolt is completely corroded and looks pretty horrible compared to everything else which looks nice.

You confirmed receipt of, and that you were happy with the purchase: why would I keep old PM when the subject matter is concluded?
It's quite obvious whether a PM has a recipient or not.
The adjuster for fine tuning the centring? I didn't know that, didn't use it.
The cable anchor? I know it's corroded and so did you. Or didn't you look at the photos I published. Still entirely functional though.
This is what's stopping you finishing your build? Really?
Ordinarily I like trades to be concluded with both parties being genuinely happy: I don't work to "buyer beware" on the forum and would have flagged the issue with the adjuster, had I known of it (but not adjusted the price).
Ordinarily in a situation like this I would refund something as a show of good faith.
However, I'm more than a little pissed off with the way you've handled this: making me out to be a cunt, but covering your back with "apologies if..." is weak.
So I've donated £20 to the forum (on top of the 5% it got from the original sale): Centaur brakes go for £40-£50 a pair.
No PM: are you replying to an old PM? I unfollow and delete PM once the subject is concluded.
Look at your PM: is there a recipient?
You have my external email via Paypal. You can tag me in your build thread.
Either way, you've brought this up here so let's keep it that way: please detail in this thread what the problem is.
