  • Strong page. I didn't gag once.

  • Little front wheel? Why? Funky brake lever angle too. Don't get it. Looks nice tho.

  • hey amey! plz keep posting in this thread! fuck all these assholes, they have no taste and substance at all. especially saarf. and dan.

basically almost everyone on this board!

  • ^^^ Any practical benefit for having the brakes behind the forks and in front of the seat stays?

  • is it Friday already/

  • Stunning and rare Colnago Mexico Time Trial bike. This bike is one of the few produced after the Moscow 1980 Olympics, with many of the same technical distinctions the Russian Cycling team required on their TT bicycles for the Olympic games. In this model they added shaped tubing and panto parts. Stem, seatpost, bottom bracket and all the tubes show a reduced diameter, the brakes are behind the fork and inside the rear triangle to reduce aerodynamic drag. This bike in particular was built in 1982, parts and frame are all in mint condition, it has been barely ridden and the paint is original, the wheels are 28" rear and 26" front. It's proof of the evolution of the Time Trial bike, one of the few transitional models with 28-26 wheels but still with an horizontal top tube, a kind of "missing link" between the older TT bikes and the mid 80's and 90's negative-sloping crono frames.

The group-set is a pantographed Campagnolo Super Record, except for brake levers and gear shifters (Modolo Aero) chosen for being lightweight and having an aerodynamic profile.

  • Pre-lopro TT bike

  • No room for Peanut Butter, but this should work:
    FACOM picture

Excellent choice of tools! Even more pleased to own (not enough sadly) Facom tools now I know they are Tester approved! Vive la France!

  • Tester approved!

Nope, that was just the first generic pic of a deep offset ring spanner I found.

  • /\ /\ Shame...
Facom is good stuff. Not too commun in UK though. But I'm sure french peeps from the forum like Gaston could confirm.
    Facom's a bit like the french Snap-on.

  • bang on the money

  • this seems an unusual model, looks later, 80's rather than the earlier with lug cut outs, with tt cable guide clamps, and external caliper bolts, one i have with the same stay caps has recessed bolts and tt cable guides

  • Is that your entry for 'worst use of filters, ever' prize?

  • ^^ cheers, I can't really read it properly on my device.

  • From the classifieds

  • Nice

  • Weapon.

  • ^ Stem arrangement on that ruins it. Shame.

  • It just looks odd and out of proportion all round
