  • brilliantly.. it's the 3/32 obviously, no problems with the 7 speed cassette....

  • Persuade me to buy a SuperSix Evo pls. Test rode one and it was nice. What's it got over a TCR?

This is a stellar deal but £500 more than I want to spend

    http://www.paulscycles.co.uk/m7b0s6p5475/CANNONDALE-SUPERSIX-EVO-RED-2014

  • Ride the TCR, see if you like it as much? Supersix for £2k with Red seems like a total bargain

  • Shame about that paint job tho...

  • I actually saw one locked (!) outside a Pret yesterday and it's better in person. But not great for sure, and the saddle is horrible.

  • Test rode one and it was nice.

    You'd hope so for £2k :)

What's it got over a TCR?

TCR - well, you know the score, buy a bike that fits in a colour you like - none of them will ride poorly. Which fits best and grabs you by the nuts?

You have to be a little bit careful with Evos as there is / was three 'grades' of frame - the Carbon, Hi-Mod and the Nano. So even though that looks like a good deal - and it probably is - it's the 'basic' Carbon frame.

  • I ride a 52 CAAD10. A 48 CAADX will be smallllllll right?

  • Yep it was the £1500 2014 model (with 5700) that I took for a quick spin, I think it was the basic frame too. Need to get out on a TCR, but to be honest neither really pass the "nice to look at" test - apart from a black TCR with gumwalls...

  • 52 caad stack 529 reach 382
48 caadx (this year's disc version) stack 525 reach 374

  • Is not this year's model. Is 2012.

  • I haz 52cm C9 and a 52cm 2011 CAADX was a nice fit.

Get the catelog and check out teh geos.

  • All the UK Evos are mingers at the moment - the TCR is more of a looker IMHO. Both lovely frames with the TCR having extra credit for direct decendancy from a British design.

If neither float your boat try something else tho.

  • Ta. My thinking is that it'll be too small.
I'm only after the frameset tbh.

  • @Chalfie

    I ride a 52 CAAD10. A 48 CAADX will be smallllllll right?

Yes, 48 is a smaller number than 52

  • Yeah I agree the TCR edges it. I quite like the Genesis Zero too, but it's pricey compared to the others...

  • A 51 caadx will be perfect, I reckon. Coincidentally I was thinking of selling my frame set. I have pm'd you.

  • Bargain CONNONDALE frame on eBay at the moment.

  • Odd description no?

  • Anyone selling a 58cm caad 8/9/10?
    Mates asking.

  • Sorry to have to say this, but I'd have this over any currently offered UK Cannondale simply due to the lack of green:

  • They are quite spicy aren't they.

I'm sure some models have deliberately shit paint to get you paying crazy money just to have a full carbon fork (and less-shit paint).

  • Um, yes. Ignore me.

  • I've ridden both extensively, and I'd buy a CAAD10.
Because- and I cannot stress this enough- they are absurdly wonderful.
