My god is it really that long. It feels like only a year or two back that they came out with 11x.
I have 2008ish era Veloce at the moment. I quite like the feel of the new bigger hoods so aesthetically and ergonomically I'm ok with it.
My problem with the older model stuff is everything of that age is now a bit too worn out (except for those Record or Mirage 10x bits they're still making). Also I really don't want anymore 2nd hand bits. I'm getting the new ones on trade so its no big expense.
I realise the difference will be marginal at best. Just don't want to pay more for Centaur for it to be worse.
